His current research is focusing on the design of cancer vaccines, utilizing immunologically active biomaterials. His research investigates the importance of incorporating various immune cells within cancer vaccination protocols. His goal is to begin identifying a cellular and molecular blueprint of a successful melanoma cancer vaccine.
