Thanks to discoveries in both targeted therapy and immunotherapy, melanoma death rates among men and women have decreased nationally. In contrast, incidence rates have increased. Generous gifts to Outrun the Sun bolster our ability to fuel melanoma research that helps patients around the world.
Outrun the Sun Melanoma Research Scholars

OTS Scholarship/IU Fairbanks School of Public Health
The Outrun the Sun Scholarship at the Indiana University Fairbanks School of Public Health supports students studying epidemiology who are interested in melanoma and skin cancer-related projects. Their work helps us better understand and respond to the genetic and environmental factors that impact both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers. The scholarship will exist in perpetuity.
